The home has derived its name out of sentimental reason…. It’s owner’s, Tom & Pam Adler, also owned and operated Chippewa Girls Camp (located adjacent to the home), for many years until just recently. Calico Hall was the name of the mess hall at camp where lots of fun and shenanigans took place over the years and lifelong friendships were established….Tom and Pam wish visitors to their lake home on the shores of Dam Lake, the same kind of lasting memories of vacation fun and time well spent together in these awesome Northwoods….
This home has so much to offer! The entire lake side of the home has sprawling windows that invite the best of nature inside. The huge modern kitchen is the focal point of the home. Tall cabinets, stainless refrigerator, the island with wet sink—this is a lovely gathering place for sharing meals and spending time together. Step out onto the large lakeside deck and enjoy the warmth of the morning sunshine. This main level offers three bedrooms. The huge master bedroom is complete with both a king and twin size bed. Large sliding patio doors over look the lake. The master bathroom offers a whirlpool tub, a huge shower and double vanity sinks not to mention an enormous walk in closet.

Two other bedrooms feature full size beds with an additional bathroom between them. The living room has plenty of seating with hard wood flooring and a fieldstone wood burning fireplace. Then take the stairway to the lower level where you'll find a rec room area with a walkout to the lakeside fire pit area. There's a collection of movies along with a 65” big screen TV. There's also a futon sleeper if needed. Here you’ll find a 4th bedroom with full size bed on this level, and a third bathroom with shower.
The lake is just a short set of 17 steps down to the water where all the fun that this fantastic 5 lake chain offers. Whether it’s the peace of a kayak or canoe, the leisure of a pontoon boat, or the thrills and spills of a speed boat, this chain offers something for every interest. We provide plenty of dock space and there are nearby merchants who will cheerfully deliver the watercraft of your choice to the local boat landing.
End your day at the huge outdoor fire pit with plenty of seating. Gather around a roaring fire while you laugh over the days events and plan tomorrow’s. A week spent at Calico Hall will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to tackle life again! Come visit us year round. |
