Trailhead Rentals has two cabins on Duck Lake for rent at an exceptional value! Located just 3 miles north of Eagle River, Wisconsin, The Mallard and The Teal offer a great "Northwoods" experience with easy access to the many conveniences of a nearby city. These two clean cabins are comfortably furnished. Each features a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The cabins can be rented individually or together. A stay at either of these places gets you a terrific spot on the famous Eagle River Chain of 28 Lakes, all navigable from the dock!

The Mallard

The Mallard is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home that can provide fun for families and big groups alike (sleeps 12+). It's open year 'round for awesome snowmobiling and ice fishing too! Bedrooms are large with king size beds. There's even a rec room in the basement complete with wet bar! The home sits about 500 ft. from the water and the walk to the lake is a gentle slope downward.

The Teal

The Teal is a cozy year 'round cottage situated on about 75 ft. from the lake. This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath comfortable cabin. It sleeps 4 with a futon in the living room to accommodate one extra person. The kitchen, living room and dining area is open and the sizable picture window offers a panoramic view of the lake!

If BOTH cabins are rented to the same group, a $100.00 discount applies!

25% Deposit Required with Reservation. All Rates Subject to State & Local Tax.

  • Extra people over number shown add $75 per week or $15 per night

  • 2 night minimum stay in off season, 1 week minimum stay for Snowmobile Derby.

  • Balance due upon arrival

  • CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED

  • Check In time: 3:00 p.m. on Friday

  • Check Out time: 9:00 a.m. on Friday in summer, 1:00 p.m. off season

  • NO TENTS OR FIREWORKS ALLOWED

  • Pets allowed with prior approval & pet fee

  • We DO NOT provide towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper/toiletries, charcoal, garbage bags and paper products. Please plan accordingly.

    • * Prime Time Summer rentals available weekly only from Friday to Friday.

Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is necessary the deposit will be refunded (minus a $100 handling fee) ONLY IF WE ARE ABLE TO RE-RENT THE CABIN.
