We are pleased to welcome this gorgeous lake home on Big St. Germain Lake, to our portfolio of offerings!  Drive right on up to the door and step right on in!  We offer plenty of parking for several vehicles/boat trailers or snowmobiles.  There's an entryway with closets perfect for dropping sandals, boots, shoes and helmets.  To the right, access the newly renovated heated two stall garage space that we call the "Snow Cave"!  It has been outfitted with television and Bluetooth speakers.  There's an electronic dartboard, barstools, mini fridge and drink rail and even a snowmobile lift and basic tools in case you need a little tune up while visiting in winter.  There are several mounted helmet and coat hangars as well as boot dryers!  It's also the perfect storage for anything you want to protect from the elements during your stay!  

 

Turn left upon entering, and you're immediately greeted by the huge common area and the shear beauty of the big open space!  (Our pictures don't do it justice!)  The kitchen, dining room and great room are all open to each other.  A breakfast counter with three chairs partially divides the kitchen from the family room area.  The dining room has a big table and 6 chairs and seems like the perfect place to dine together, play games, cards, share a pizza, you name it!  There's a sofa sleeper in this first family room, with another in the great room.  Our large flat screen TV has been conveniently mounted over the fireplace so that it can be viewed through out the area.  Lots of windows on all walls lets you enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings while indoors.  The three bedrooms are off the main hallway, one with a king bed (mounted TV), the other two with queen beds.  Our king room now offers walk out access to the newly built screen porch!  Our half bath is now a full bath with the addition of a step in shower stall and is a pass through to the laundry room with more storage space and then our main bathroom features a bathtub with shower head.  All the bedrooms have ceiling fans, but the home also offers built in A/C units and with the tree cover over head, the house stays very comfortable all summer long.  In winter, enjoy gas forced air for cozy comfort!

 

Sliding patio doors in the great room, step out onto the gorgeous lakeside deck.  Beautiful patio furnishings are sure to make this the central gathering and socializing spot in summer!  And there's so much more!  In addition to the new screen porch, an outdoor kitchen we like to call  The Corner Bar, has also been added.   Here you'll find a sink with running water, wrap around open air bar top, small refrigerator, a hot plate, LED lighting all of which flows naturally to the outdoor deck.  There's even a deck cooler, making a cold one readily accessible!  The walk out to the water with private dock and to the inground firepit is a nice flat gentle stroll.  

 

We offer both charcoal as well as gas grill with propane provided.  There's additional outdoor furniture if you prefer to sit and visit in this space while keeping a close eye on the brats!  The grounds are lovely, clean and serene.  Our local deer population love to drop by just to see what's cooking and enjoy a cool drink at water's edge.

 

With the western exposure, you'll be treated to inspiring sunsets most nights.  If visiting in winter, know that your stay will be equally convenient.  The trail system is at the end of Pinecrest Colony East, just off Half Mile Road and extends for many miles in both directions!  The Awassa Trail is at the end of the road as well, and offers phenomenal groomed cross country skiing.  If a Tom and Jerry and hanging out close to the crock pot of chili is more your style, your tip-ups can be seen easily from the great room!

  • 25% deposit required with reservation. All rates subject to state & local tax.

  • Extra people over number shown add $20 per night or $100 per week.

  • Valid Credit Card required at time of booking

  • 3 Night Minimum Stay

  • PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT:  Personal Check, please.

  • Credit cards accepted for deposits. Credit cards used for paying the balance of your bill will be assessed a 4% convenience fee.  Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

  • Memorial Day to Labor Day - Check In time: 3:00 p.m. on Saturday; Check Out time: 9:00 a.m. on Saturday

  • Off Season Check In time: 3:00 p.m. Check Out Time 10:00 a.m.

  • Life vests & a cushion are required if you plan to go boating

  • Smoking is permitted ONLY outside the home

  • We do not provide towels, toilet paper/toiletries, charcoal, garbage bags and paper products. Please plan accordingly. 

  • Prime Time Summer rentals available weekly only from Saturday to Saturday!

  • During peak summer season, partial week rentals will be considered ONLY IF home is vacant at 21 days prior to arrival.

 

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is necessary the deposit will be refunded (minus a $100 handling fee) ONLY IF WE ARE ABLE TO RE-RENT THE CABIN.

Nord Hus- Located at 8264 Pine Crest Colony East in St. Germain.  Take Half Mile Road west off Hwy 155 until it ends.  Veer slightly left on to Pine Crest Colony East and watch for the first driveway on your right.
